The last full day on Norfolk Island with the complete crew saw us visiting locals and their businesses who were taking a proactive role in sustainable farming and business practices. We met with Pete from Touchwood Farms who supply the island with local produce. Brad from Cascade soft drinks showed us through the bottling process of their triple bottom line approved business. Farmer Lou taught us all about his sustainable farming techniques and how he developed his own methane digester which utilises the poop from his pigs and powers his farm from the methane gas.
